Chewy gives free shipping on orders totaling at least $49. You’ll pay a flat rate of $4.95 on other orders. For fast delivery, Chewy ships orders out by FedEx and other major carriers. These carriers will leave your package by your door. Chewy only ships to the contiguous United States, not to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. boxes, military addresses or to international addresses.

The Cancellation Policy at Chewy

Due to high demand for Chewy products, Chewy cannot exchange existing orders. However, the company will let you cancel orders you’ve made that have not yet shipped. Go to “Orders,” click on the order you’re canceling and then click on “Cancel this Order.”

Some customers enjoy the convenience of auto-ship of things like potty pads, pet food and treats. However, just about everyone eventually goes on vacation, making it necessary to cancel any deliveries.

To cancel an auto-ship shipment, go to “Manage Autoship” and select your auto-ship. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the “Cancel this Autoship” button. All auto-shipments will be halted after you do this. Send Chewy a message if you have trouble canceling your order.

The Return Policy at Chewy

Chewy gives you a full year to return pet supplies that you’re not happy with. Send Chewy a message with your order number when you plan to return them. Chewy does not accept prescription medications unless you received the wrong prescription or the medication arrived damaged. Chewy e-gift cards are not returnable. In some cases, you can receive a refund for a physical product without returning the item.
