After gear has been rented, it is sold on that page at a discount. They explain the item’s condition as well. Not every rental item can be sold, though. You can find discounts off of full retail for top-of-the-line tents, backpacks, rolling duffels, camp lanterns, and other camp paraphernalia, as well as warm parkas and other clothing deeply discounted after perhaps only one use.
